CMDS provides independent investigations into allegations of bullying, harassment and/or discrimination in the workplace, particularly in the healthcare sector. Using our investigation service enables a matter to be looked into discreetly and swiftly, without overloading internal resources. The complainant has confidence that their complaint has been thoroughly investigated by a truly independent third party.
As part of its investigation service, CMDS provides an option to mediate to facilitate open discussions leading to a better understanding of sensitive issues between the key participants in the investigation. Mediation can significantly relieve the tensions of working relationships throughout a GP practice, PCT or NHS Trust which may have escalated as a result of the allegations having been made. In this way, progress can be made after the investigation outcome has been published and limit further costs being incurred by a dissatisfied participant.
Contact us in confidence to make an appointment to discuss your concerns about dealing with a grievance at work.
CMDS mediators for this area are: Dr. Zaza Elsheikh, Sheila Thorne and Kathy Tormann.
